Weylandts first concept store in Sandton City mall. This was a collaborative effort between the Spaces interior design department, Marketing department and  VM department.

About the Concept:

The concept of the store is based on the luxury of a hotel living. Weylandts signature masculine style was enhanced by the moody dark walls and finishes. The space is infused with the glam and sophistication of a 5-star hotel.

“The vision of the store was to create a customer experience that triggers all 5 senses, transporting the visitor to another world.” Chris Weylandt.

Sight, touch and sound was easy to achieve, smell and taste was introduced by serving champagne to clients as well as installing the Weylandts signature scent. From the concierge desk to the kitchen island, drama and luxury was the end goal. Materials such as brass, marble, mild steel and Weylandts signature ebony stained oak merged together effortlessly to create a mind-blowing shopping experience.

The layout of the store was inspired by the journey through a hotel, from the concierge desk, to the front desk, living/waiting area, dining area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and courtyard.
