This is a coffee bar design project I did for Weylandts. The brief was to redesign and renovate both the Kramerville store in Johannesburg and the Durbanville store in Cape Town.

A brand new coffee bar counter was designed, along with the seating, plant hanger and signage.

Because the Kramerville store offered a lovely double volume space, I designed a large oversized planter display cage suspended from the ceiling rafters. It became quite an engineering exercise as the planter display had to be movable for the watering of plants.

​

Due to the limited amount of natural sunlight, we selected plants that required less watering and light. The display also houses pendant lights which are arranged around the plants.

All furniture was custom designed with the Weylandts aesthetic in mind.
